About Liza Meiksins PT, DPT

Dr. Liza Meiksins holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University. She has worked for Evanston Hospital and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab over the past 15 years and also founded a nonprofit organization called Omnis Rehabilitation to provide pro bono rehabilitation services to the uninsured in the northern Chicago area.

She has advanced certifications in neurologic physical therapy, brain injury, and lymphedema. In addition to her clinical work, Liza is also the chair of the Practice Committee of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, which develops resources and promotes the dissemination of best practice for neurologic physical therapists. She also regularly teaches webinars and continuing education courses around the country focused on evidence-based neurologic PT practice and practical implementation principles.
